Kerrang podcast: Judas priest link
In this podcast, the guitarist of Judas Priest, KK Downing, talks about ther concert in Donnington 27 years since the last time they played there. They had played in Donnington in 1981, with Scorpions and Deep Purple. This time they will play with Kiss and Motorhead. KK Downing also talks about Judas Priest new album "Nostradamus". This album was released on July 2008. The idea for this album came from their manager, so that they would release a new album to tour on. Judas Priest read some literature on Nostradamus and they got really inspired by it. This album is full of emotion and it is non fictional, and it is about believing and being skeptical. It also talks about Nostradamu's life and questions, and it follows a plot through the album, just like telling a story. It is 1 hour and 40 minutes long and it is a great album with lots of emotion. This podcast is very helpful for my project, because we see that metal albums like "Nostradamus" are very emotional and interesting, and this shows that a good metal album is not just noise like some people think it is.
